The victim’s parents had lodged a complaint at the Arundhati Nagar police station, leading to an investigation. Pal had reportedly been absconding for the past few days. On Friday, local residents, including women, staged a protest in front of his residence, demanding strict action.

According to the victim’s father, the child is currently receiving medical treatment in the hospital. The accused has been presented before the court, and further legal proceedings are expected to determine the next steps in the case.
