Agartala May 29: In 2014, the BJP government was formed in the country under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This year has completed nine years of this government. On this occasion, an exchange meeting with journalists was held on Monday in a private hotel in the capital under the chairmanship of the Chief Minister of the state, Dr. Manik Sahar.

State BJP President Rajeev Bhattacharya and Mayor of Agartala Pur Nigam Deepak Majumdar were present in the meeting. Speaking there, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha highlighted what Narendra Modi has done for the development of the country in 9 years as Prime Minister. He said that the state of Tripura has benefited the most from the Act East policy. Prime Minister gave diamond model to Tripura. He always said that development of India is not possible without the development of the North-East region. The Prime Minister emphasized on protecting the balance of the environment.

Water communication was never thought of in the state of Tripura. At present water communication is also being considered. The waterway is currently under construction. Before 2014 India did not have a single world class train. But in the last 9 years, 9 world class trains have been launched in India. The Chief Minister said that currently 12 to 13 express trains are running in the state of Tripura. He also said that before 2014 only 5 cities had metro services. At present metro services are operational in 15 cities. In 2014, there were 641 medical colleges in the country. 700 new medical colleges have been established in 9 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Attempts are underway to set up a medical college on the model of AIIMS in the state of Tripura. Dental college has been established. In the last 9 years, 390 new universities have been established in the country. People were in enough trouble during the Corona outbreak. At that time, the Prime Minister arranged free rations so that people do not have to go without food.

7.13 lakh families in Tripura state received free ration. The Prime Minister has arranged to provide free medical services to the people of the poor sections through the Ayushman Bharat scheme. Jan Medicinal Center has been launched. People can buy medicines at very low cost from these public medicine centers. The Chief Minister said that there are 20 medicinal centers in the state of Tripura. In the organized function, the Chief Minister also said that the Prime Minister is working to solve the basic problems of the people. The Prime Minister has made arrangements so that people can live with self-respect. So far 2 lakh 1 thousand houses have been constructed in the state of Tripura under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Grameen Scheme.

 

48 thousand houses are under construction. The Chief Minister said that the central government has sanctioned 1 lakh more houses to the state of Tripura under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana scheme. So far 87 thousand houses have been sanctioned for urban areas of Tripura state under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. An initiative has been taken to deliver purified drinking water to every home through Jal Jeevan Mission. About 63 percent households in Tripura state have already been supplied with purified drinking water. Previous governments of the country were associated with corruption. But Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha also claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has shown that a government can run without corruption. On this day, the Chief Minister detailed all the projects that Narendra Modi has launched as the Prime Minister in 9 years. Editor of Sandan newspaper Subal Kumar Dey and other senior journalists were present in the exchange meeting.
