Agartala: May 7: Tipra Matha supremo Pradyot Kishore Deb Barman met the Chief Minister on Sunday evening, putting to rest speculation before meeting the Union Home Minister. The meeting at Dr. Shyamaprasad Mukherjee Sarani went on for a long time. After the meeting, Pradyot Kishore Deb Barman told the media that various issues were discussed with the Chief Minister.

Many Bills including Land Review, Pension, Tribal Customary Law were passed in ADC. But these bills have languished long after they were passed. No judgment is being considered on these bills. He said that there is lack of money in ADC. He also said that although several initiatives have been taken in the field of health, the government is not paying.

Apart from this, there was a very good discussion with the Chief Minister on various issues including the constitutional demands of the people. The Chief Minister has assured that he will talk to the Chief Secretary of the state and the Finance Department official. Pradyot Kishore Deb Barman is very optimistic about the Chief Minister’s assurance. Pradyot Kishore Deb Barman was accompanied by ADC EM Kamal Kallai, MLA Vrisaketu Deb Barma and other leaders.
