Agartala: Nov 07: The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony was a momentous event, marking a significant collaboration between the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) and leading organizations like TATA STRIVE and IHCL. The ceremony was graced by prominent dignitaries, underscoring the importance of the partnership.

Shri Purna Chandra Jamatia, Hon’ble Chief Executive Member (CEM) of TTAADC, along with Bubagra Pradyot Bikram Manikya DebBarma, Hon’ble Chairman of AARC, TTAADC, led the political and administrative representation, emphasizing the commitment of the TTAADC to empower the tribal communities of Tripura. The presence of Smt. Kriti Devi Debbarman, Hon’ble Member of Parliament for the Tripura East Lok Sabha Constituency, and Shri Brishaketu Debbarma, Hon’ble Minister in the Government of Tripura, further highlighted the broad governmental support for this initiative.

 

The formal signing of the MoU was carried out by Shri C. K. Jamatia, CEO of TTAADC; Shri Ameya Vanjari, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of TATA STRIVE; and Shri Jayanta Das, General Manager at IHCL. This agreement lays the groundwork for a partnership aimed at fostering skill development, providing employment opportunities, and supporting sustainable growth in the region. By bringing together the expertise of TATA STRIVE in skill-building and the hospitality leadership of IHCL, the MoU aims to uplift local communities through focused training and development programs.

 

This collaboration is expected to bring tangible benefits to the tribal population, with a focus on enhancing livelihoods, building capacity, and creating sustainable economic opportunities. The MoU represents a step forward in the socio-economic development of Tripura, particularly the tribal areas, aligning with the broader goals of inclusive growth and empowerment for all sections of society.
