Agartala November 8: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is one of the main faces of India Alliance. He allegedly made lewd remarks against women while standing in the assembly. And against this, the ruling party BJP has entered the field to take an opportunity before the Lok Sabha elections. Women’s organizations of the ruling party, namely Mahila Morcha, have started a strong movement in the states where the double engine government is in place in the country. Tripura is no exception.
A protest program was organized in front of the Pradesh BJP office on Wednesday afternoon by the Pradesh Mahila Morcha. The Mahila Morcha demanded the resignation of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar by demonstrating for a long time. Ajanta Bhattacharjee, general editor of Pradesh Mahila Morcha, who was present, said that the chief minister of Bihar said indecent words about women’s self-esteem. His resignation is being demanded for using such slurs about women. They claim that it is a very condemnable incident. Meanwhile, Mahila Morcha activists who took to the streets warned that if the Chief Minister does not resign, they will launch a larger movement. The Prime Minister has already started opening up about this matter. Prime Minister said to Nitish Kumar how much will you go down? No shame? This is how the Prime Minister also instructed Kumar. But the most surprising thing is that in the past few months, reports of various indecent acts against women and spoiling the sanctity of the assembly have started pouring in against a handful of leaders of various political parties against the ruling party. Opposition political parties in Tripura had accused Yadav Lal Nath of watching indecent videos a few months ago. He is also a BJP MLA. So far, the people of the state have not seen any action taken by the government and its party on the complaints raised by the opposition party.
