Agartala: Nov 02: Ashish Kumar Saha, the Pradesh Congress President, has leveled serious allegations against the ruling party, accusing it of fostering divisions among the populace based on caste, religion, and ethnicity. Saha contends that the party is pursuing a systematic agenda aimed at fragmenting communities, creating an atmosphere of distrust and animosity. According to him, this divisive strategy not only threatens social harmony but also serves a larger, more insidious purpose: to weaken the fabric of national unity by pitting different ethnic groups against one another.
Saha highlights that the ruling party’s rhetoric and policies have instigated a climate of fear among citizens, undermining their sense of security and belonging. He claims that the continuous targeting of specific religious or ethnic communities is part of a broader scheme to incite unrest, distract from pressing governance issues, and consolidate political power through division.
