Agartala August 22: Pradesh Congress is not doing well. MLA and former Pradesh Congress president Birjit Sinha reiterated this during a one-day workshop organized by the Pradesh Congress Fishermen’s Committee on Tuesday. During the last assembly elections, there were no Congress candidates in 47 constituencies. The expected lead for the candidate is disappointing.

He also said that he also fixed the formula to the current management committee for how the Congress will fight in the two assembly constituencies in the by-elections. But the committee did not proceed with this formula to defeat the BJP. So the Pradesh Congress Committee needed to follow that formula if it aimed to defeat the BJP. Besides Sudip Roy Barman becoming a permanent invitee member of the National Congress Party Working Committee will tell the future how much the Congress will improve. He said this in another question and answer of journalists. In today’s workshop organized at Agartala Press Club, MLA Birjit Sinha said that Tripura is one of the backward states. If the state government wants to develop the people of all parts of the state, the state government can form the development council as the power given in the constitution of the country. Formation of development council means to directly deliver the benefits of government projects to the people of all sections.
