Police Arrested A Man With 50 Litres  Illegal Wine .

Agartala: Oct 05:   In an anti drug campaign organized by the police authority of Debdaru outpost under Baikhora PS 50 litres of illegal wine has been recovered and arrested one person named Uttam Manik Tripura associated with this illegal wine dealing from Kwaifang market in Baikhora under  Shantir Bazar, South Tripura. Police said, a case has been registered against this arrestee under U/S-69 TE Act and he would prosecuted U/S 45 of TE Act. As per the report,  under the supervision of the outpost OC Bakul Reang a police team has started investigation in the market. Based on secret information the police team has arrested this local dealer with 50 litres of illegal wine. The police officials have destroyed all the containers including their wine stocked in them. Sources said, some local wine sellers are active in the area who are promoting the tendency of wine utility amidst the people and destroying the youths. The public of the locality appealed the police authority to be strict in their anti drugs operation and save the youngsters. They have appreciated the philanthropic work of the police officials of Debdaru OP and thanked them for their great job.
