Minister Sushanta Chowdhury assured the public that there is no cause for alarm. The state government, along with the Chief Minister, is closely monitoring the situation. The focus is on ensuring that goods trains can resume operations promptly, thereby alleviating the shortage of fuel and other essential items.

The Chief Minister has personally written a letter to Railway Minister Ashwini Kumar Vaishnav, urging swift action to find a solution. Minister Chowdhury also highlighted the impact of disrupted communication systems on essential item prices, appealing to traders not to engage in price manipulation.

Overall, the state government is committed to resolving this challenge promptly and restoring normalcy to train services in Assam’s Jatinga region.
