Agartala: Mar 09: In a significant development, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced Biplab Kumar Deb as its candidate for the West Tripura Lok Sabha seat in the upcoming elections. This decision comes after an organizational meeting held in the Gomati district today.

Deb, a former Chief Minister of Tripura and currently a Rajya Sabha MP, expressed his commitment to the welfare and development of the state. He emphasized that voters should evaluate his work and vote based on his track record. Speaking at the meeting, Deb highlighted the significance of trust and development associated with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He noted that people from various political backgrounds are joining the BJP, driven by their faith in Modi’s leadership.

Addressing party workers, Deb urged them to transcend party lines and connect with every family in society. Their mission: to convey the Prime Minister’s greetings and seek blessings for the revolution. Deb’s vision is clear: he aims for a resounding victory for the BJP in the two seats of Tripura.

The BJP leadership expressed confidence in Deb’s leadership and stature, emphasizing that he is the right choice for representing the party in the Lok Sabha. As the election season unfolds, all eyes are on Tripura, where the BJP hopes to secure a strong mandate.
