Today, a blood donation camp was organized at Sakhicharan Vidyaniketan with the slogan Hasbe Paathi Pachabe Pran. Agartala Municipal Corporation Mayor Deepak Majumdar and Corporator Ratna Dutta along with other teachers of the school were present as the initiators of the blood donation camp.

On this day, the mayor said that the Chief Minister of the state, Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha had called upon the people to come forward to donate blood. Because, in the past days, 12 blood banks approved by the government and 2 private blood banks had blood shortage. However, responding to the Chief Minister’s call, the people have come forward to donate blood. These kinds of blood donation camps have helped a lot in eliminating the shortage of blood in government blood banks.
