Assam Chief Minister Himanta Vishwasharma came to the state on Saturday to discuss and take decisions on various issues including the formation of the cabinet.
He was welcomed at the airport by Union Minister of State Pratima Bhaumik, State General Secretary of BJP Papiya Dutta, State Secretary Amit Rakshit, Yuva Morcha President Nabadul Banik and others. Later, while commenting on the victory to reporters, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Vishwasharma said it was a big victory. People of the state have faith in Prime Minister Narendra Modi. So it became clear through the election. BJP functionaries have worked tirelessly. The team is proud of them. He thanked the people of the state. Regarding the rise of Tipra Matha, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sharma said that Tipra Matha has raised some issues for the development of the people.
BJP is ready to sit down and talk with them without the demands of state division. BJP government is sincere for the development of the people. But in this case no matter of Greater Tipra Land will be discussed. Tripura is one and the same. He said that the central and state governments are ready to discuss whatever is needed to build a better Tripura. The new cabinet will be sworn in on February 8. The Chief Minister of Assam said that the Prime Minister has been invited to attend the event. Terrorism has no place in democracy. This is not good for the state.
