According to the all-India leadership of the BJP, the two winning candidates, Patal Kanya Jamatia and Jayanti Debbarma, have been given the rank of Minister of State. Jayanti Debbarma has been appointed as Chairperson of “Tripura Commission for Protection of Child Rights” and Patalakanya Jamatia as Chairperson of “Tripura Rehabilitation Plantation Corporation Limited”.

Jayanthi Debbarma is the daughter of late minister Narendra Chandra Debbarma. He contested the recently concluded assembly elections from 26 Asharambari as IPFT. But he was defeated by the candidate of this center Tipra Matha. 41 Patal Kanya was the BJP candidate from Ampinagar Assembly constituency. He was defeated by Tipra Matha candidate Pathan Lal Jamatia. The Delhi leadership thought far and wide about these two candidates. After their unexpected defeat, he decided to place them in a respectable place. Accordingly, the two leaders have been appointed by the state government in these two important positions. On Friday, state government secretary Jai Dutta said in two separate notices. Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said on his social media that new momentum will be transmitted to their two institutions. The Chief Minister congratulated both of them.
