Amarpur, 9th of February 2024. With the initiative of Twichakma Holy Cross School authority a gorgeous Parents Day Observation programme has been conducted here in Holy Cross School premises in Twichakma village under Ampi nagar RD block in Gomati Tripura today. On this auspicious occasion a large number of holy cross members, parents & students of this school and other many dignitaries have taken participation in this parents day programme 2024 with great zeal and enthusiasm. The event was full of different kinds of tribal and non tribal traditional cultural programme segments. In the present of many distinguished dignitaries Emmanuel Kallarackal, CSC, vicor, 1st asst. general of Holy Cross has inaugurated the event by lighting the lamp. The programme chief guest hon’ble MLA Pathanlal  Jamatia of Ampi nagar 41 constituency was warmed welcomed by school authority. Under the able guidance & supervision of this Holy Cross School in charge Fr. Arbok every segments of the programme was perfect & appreciable. The little children of the school have presented charming cultural programmes and made the event most colorful and entertaining. Addressing the parent participants Emmanuel Kallarackal, CSC has said, “I am proud to observe the endeavour of the Holy Cross School administrators who are toiling hard to promote the academic environment in remote and backward areas through imparting quality education for the needy and deprived families. Education enlighten the human life and generate genuine way to survive in the society. We are always in promptness to create good relationship with parents for their children advantageous academic status. We expect that parents also must be cooperative with the concerned school authority to maintain good academic management and provide us essential supports for our goal. Through this parents day programme we come in touch with all parents which is a inspiring moment for us; we expect from  the concerned parents of this school to be more cooperative with us and motivate their children to be more  concentrative over the studies & career. The parents have some fundamental responsibilities which are related to good children academic achievement. To generate academic session more appreciable parents should be cooperative with the school authority for better academic achievement” Amidst the other distinguished participants there were Rev. Fr. Alfred D’Souza, CSC, administrator of Holy Cross Fathers, North East, Fr. Rabi, CSC, principal of Notre Dame Holy Cross School, Mahar Para, Rev. Fr. Hormis, CSC, founder of Holy Cross School Twichakma, Fr. Arbok, school in charge, Fr. Thamas Mathias, CSC and many local villagers remained present in the programme.
