Agartala, October 24, 2024 – Opposition leader Jitendra Chowdhury has strongly criticized Pradyot Kishore Debbarma, accusing him of manipulating the emotions of the tribal community, particularly the youth, over the past six years. Chowdhury’s remarks came during a press conference on Thursday.

Chowdhury alleged that Pradyot Kishore has been engaging in emotional manipulation for political gain, leading to a loss of trust among the people. He claimed that Pradyot’s political strategies are now being questioned by the public, resulting in the collapse of his influence. According to Chowdhury, Pradyot’s recent statements are indicative of his distress.

The criticism follows Pradyot Kishore Debbarma’s live social media session on Wednesday, where he attacked the Left parties, asserting that the opposition leader would not have won if Tipra Motha had fielded a candidate. Pradyot’s comments have sparked a response from the opposition, with Chowdhury accusing him of exploiting the emotions of the tribal people for political purposes.
