Agartala June 23: A 25-year-old youth named Masuk Miya was seriously injured in firing by BSF in Rahimpur area of Boxanagar at around 3 pm on Thursday. The injured youth is currently undergoing treatment at GB Hospital. The injured youth was shot in the back. According to the details of the incident, Masuk went to a relative’s house on Thursday.

On this day, he left the house late at night to do natural work. Then he saw the people involved in smuggling in the area running around. At that time Masuk was seriously injured in firing by BSF jawans. Then the people of the house rescued him and took him to Boxanagar hospital. From there he was referred to Hapania Hospital. After being brought to Hapania Hospital, Masuk’s condition was seen to be serious and was referred to GB Hospital, said the injured youth’s brother. Injured Masuk is dying in GB hospital. But why he went to the area is still a mystery. A lot of excitement was created among the locals on this day.
