Agartala June 5: A discussion cycle on Prime Minister Flagship Scheme, Small Savings, NBFS Schemes was organized in Muktadhara on Monday. The one-day workshop was organized by the Directorate of Institutional Finance. The officials highlighted various schemes in their discussion. Finance Minister Pronjit Singh Roy along with officials of the concerned departments were present.
While discussing, the Minister said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has done a lot in his 9 years as Chief Minister in various ways from how to make everyone economically strong starting from the last level people. Bringing up the topic of chit fund, the minister said that when greed is high, people are in danger. Many government employees and even many have kept money by selling gold. 3000 agents are working in low savings. The minister said that the matter will be looked into where there is vacancy.
