One critical in stabbing spree

Teliamura: A person identified as Santanu Das suffered grave injuries after one Pankaj Debnath went on a stabbing spree last night. A case was registered with the Teliamura police station today in connection with the incident. According to police, the accused has absconded the scene as soon as he came to know that a police complaint was filed. “Last night, he had stabbed a number of people using a sharp knife. Among the victims, Santanu Das suffered severe injuries. He had been shifted to GBP hospital Agartala for advanced treatment. He is now admitted to the trauma care center”, a police official has said.
