On the occasion of National Panchayat Raj Day on 24th April this year, the Kumarghat Block Advisory Committee awarded the prestigious ‘Nanaji Deshmukh Sarvajanin Panchayat Satta Award’ with a cash incentive of 1.50 crore. Also Bagmara Village Committee under Rupaichari Block has been awarded ‘Special Carbon Neutral Panchayat’. Panchayati Raj Ministry is encouraging Panchayats through National Panchayat Awards. The honors will be conferred in New Delhi in the presence of the President of India
