Agartala: June 25:    The NSS unit of Debdaru Higher Secondary School has conducted an awareness programme here in Debdaru tri-junction in Shantir Bazar South Tripura today. As per the report, 50 students of the school along with Debdaru OP police officials have taken active participation in this awareness campaign programme. The NSS unit members of the school came out on the road and provided good safety tips to the bikers and four wheelers to maintain accurately traffic rules & regulations. They have stopped the bikers who are riding bike without helmets and warned them not to do so. They have explained the immense significance of helmet utility to save one’s life. The NSS unit has instructed all vehicle drivers to maintain appropriate speed to avoid any kinds of casualty on the road to provide safety to pedestrians. With the joint initiative of NSS and police personnel local riders and drivers have gained good consciousness over the safe and secured vehicle movement management. The initiative was applauded by the locals for creating awareness over healthy traffic system.
