North Tripura District General Secretary Sumit Dey breathed his last

Agartala: Oct 27: Agartala October 27: BJP North District General Secretary Sumit Dey passed away. He breathed his last at GB Hospital on Thursday night after failing all the efforts of the doctors. His body is expected to be taken to his residence at Dharmanagar DNV Road early on Friday morning. After reaching there, numerous people and leaders of various political parties paid their last respects.

The body was then taken to the athletic club. From there to BJP North District Office. The leaders paid tribute to late Sumit Dey there. Assembly Speaker Bishwabandhu Sen, Minister Tinku Roy, MLA Yadav Lal Nath, District President Bhavatosh Das, Dharmanagar Pur Parishad Chairman Pradyot Dey Sarkar and many more paid their respects. Sumit Dey was 42 years old at the time of his death. He is survived by his mother, wife and only son and numerous well-wishers. Chief Minister condoled the demise of BJP North District General Secretary Sumit De. On October 24, BJP North District General Secretary Sumit De suffered a brain stroke and transferred from Dharmanagar to GB. He underwent surgery there. But the end was not saved. MLA Yadav Lal Nath said that a good executive had to be lost at an untimely time.
