Agartala: June 4, 2024 — In a significant moment for Tripura, two newly elected Members of Parliament (MPs) were sworn in today during the commencement of the 18th Lok Sabha. West Tripura MP Biplap Kumar Dev took the oath in Hindi, while East Tripura MP Kriti Devi Singh Debvarma chose English for her oath.

Both MPs, elected for the first time, join the august house to represent their constituencies. The swearing-in ceremony marks the beginning of their parliamentary journey, and they will now actively participate in legislative proceedings and serve their constituents.
