Agartala: August 02: Deepak Majumdar, the newly elected MLA of Ramnagar, was felicitated by the Tripura Adibasi Mahila Samiti at a function on Friday. The event, held at the organization’s office at Advisor Chowmuhani in the capital, was attended by Mayor and MLA Deepak Majumdar, corporator Bhaskar Debbarma, corporator Shikha Banerjee, co-secretary of the Tripura Adibasi Mahila Samiti Latika Debbarma, editor Rita Ray, and others.

During the function, Deepak Majumdar was honored with a bouquet of flowers and a shawl. In his speech, Mayor and MLA Deepak Majumdar highlighted the contributions of Anurupa Mukherjee towards women’s education and self-reliance. He emphasized that the Prime Minister is working to make women self-reliant and that the state government is also striving to protect and empower women. He concluded by stating that the country’s progress depends on respecting women and enabling them to become self-reliant.
