He expressed his anger and said that people have seen a repeat of the 2021 assembly election situation in West Bengal in this general election as well.
Arun Singh sarcastically said that despite such a volatile situation, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is playing the role of a silent spectator. Even, a case has been registered in Calcutta High Court. The deadline for deployment of central paramilitary forces in the state has been extended till June 21 and the interim hearing in the high court has been fixed for June 18.
Arun said that BJP state president JP Nadda has formed a four-member committee under the leadership of MP Biplab Kumar Dev to look into the situation in West Bengal. The remaining members of the committee are MP Ravi Shankar Prasad, MP Brijlal and MP Kavita Patidar.
