According to the details of the incident, he fell ill while on duty at the Bilonia court last Sunday. The ailing police officer was immediately taken to Belonia Hospital and then referred to GB Hospital.

When family members rushed to the hospital, they found a serious head injury. The police officer, Sevak Chandra Biswas, remained in critical condition at GB Hospital for two days. However, he later succumbed to his injuries. His family suspects foul play and believes he was assaulted. It is said that he was on duty outside the Belonia court. Other people present at the court reportedly said that ASI Sevak Chandra Biswas suddenly fell to the ground. However, his family finds the incident suspicious.

On Tuesday afternoon, after the post-mortem, the body was handed over to the family from the GB Hospital morgue. Other police officers paid their last respects. It is known that he was transferred from Ramnagar police station to Belonia court a few days ago. This incident happened in the meantime. Now it remains to be seen what the post-mortem report reveals.
