Traffic department has already issued a ban on e-rickshaws and pedal rickshaws. The Chief Minister has directed the Municipal Corporation to keep the city traffic free and clean during the Puja season. To comply with the Chief Minister’s order, the Municipal Corporation finally started eviction of illegal encroachment in Battala area from Saturday morning. Additional Commissioner Mohammad Sajjad led the eviction operation. There was a huge force of the Municipal Corporation along with the police. From the early hours of this day, an operation was started to clear the Battala main road towards the cremation road through Dasamighat through Battala. Mayor Deepak Majumder said that this operation was carried out as per the pre-scheduled announcement. He said that action is being taken against those who are illegally occupying the road and creating problems. This operation will be carried out in the coming days also in different streets of the city.

However, those who have a vendor license will be given the opportunity to sit in a specific place, said the mayor. The mayor wants the cooperation of the city residents in this case. This kind of operation will be conducted after evening. Shop license may be revoked. Mayor Deepak Majumdar gave a strong message that shops can be kept open till 11 pm. Meanwhile, as far as is known, they have faced loss due to the destruction of shops by angry traders in the city before Durga Puja. Panta runs out to bring salt for the family. In addition Durga Puja! At the moment, it is a matter of natural collapse to tear down their shops. But the common man congratulated the corporation authorities who caused the suffering of the established traders by putting up flex on the city roads to promote their shops. Various materials placed in front of the road along with their flakes are picked up. And the corporation authorities picked up the bikes parked on both sides of the city roads. People could not reach their destination on time due to the total number of traders occupying both sides of the city’s roads for the past few months. Especially from Battala to Motor Stand this pathetic situation was created. So after this day’s campaign, the pedestrians have returned a lot of relief.
