MSME CUM TRPCL ORGANIZED YOUTH EMPOWERMENT PROGRAMME.

Agartala: Dec 20: With the initiative of MSME cum TRPCL a  youth career building cum life guidlines motivational programme has been organized here in Ampi nagar community hall under Amarpur Gomati Tripura today. On this occasion a large number of youth, students as well as local villagers have assembled in the programme. Aiming to generate better life of youth through which better country will be appeared the concerned departmental resource persons of the programme have imparted career building guidlines to the youth participants over many essential issues related to safe, healthy and prosperous life. Targeting to create awareness over different issues through which a youth can be vanished have been discussed elaborately in the programme. To create awareness among youth main social hindrances like drugs, narcotics tendency and minor marriage etc have been highlighted in the programme. PK Jamatia, TRPC chairman addressed the youth and said that proper awareness should be created amidst the youth over ideal life, professional conception, the consequences of drugs abuse etc. She advised the youth participants to aim a good profession and study appropriately to attain a better career in future. On the other hand, a beneficiary  inspiring segment was there over Vishwakarma Scheme of the PM Narendra Modi in this programme. As per the report, PM Vishwakarma Scheme which was launched on the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 73rd birthday on the 17th of September 2023. The launching event takes place at the India International Convention and Expo Centre also named as YashoBhoomi Convention Center in Dwarka. PM Vishwakarma Scheme was announced by Finance Minister Smt. Nirmala Sitaraman during her 2023-2024 budget speech. The full name of PM Vishwakarma Yojana is Prime Minister (PM) Vishwakarma Kaushal Samman Yojana. It is also known by other name i.e. “PM VIKAS Yojana” or “PM Vishwakarma Yojana”.

On the 16th of August 2023, the Union Cabinet gave its nod to implement PM Vishwakarma scheme in the whole of India.  PM Vishwakarma Scheme is an initiative that operates as a Central Sector Scheme and boasts a substantial financial allocation of Rs.13,000 crore. Under the PM Vishwakarma scheme, the artisans and craftspeople will be provided recognition through a PM Vishwakarma certificate and ID card, Credit Support up to Rs.1 lakh (First Tranche) and Rs.2 lakh (Second Tranche) with a concessional interest rate of 5%. Loan up to Rs. 2,00,000/- at 5% Interest Rate in 2 Phases. Skill Training. Rs. 500/- per Day Stipend during Skill Training. Rs. 15,000/- for Tools Purchase. PM Vishwakarma Certificate and ID Card. Beneficiaries Artists and Craftsman. To inspire the local villagers the concerned programme authority has explained everything to the present participants and instructed them to take the benefit of this scheme to promote their occupation and business. Amidst the other distinguished dignitaries there were B.P Meena, IEDS, incharge MSME DFO Agartala, Smti. Jayanti Debbarma, chairperson of TSCPCR, Kalidas Ghosh, Dy. collector, Gomati and many others remained present in the programme.
