MP Visits Unkoti District to Discuss Infrastructure Development

Agartala, September 5:  MP Kriti Singh Debbarman visited Unkoti district on Thursday to attend a district-level Disha Committee meeting at the Circuit House in Kailashahar.

The meeting was attended by the District Magistrate of Unkoti, Dilip Kumar Chakma, Additional District Magistrate L. Darlong, MDC Dhirendra Debbarma, Chairperson of Kailashahar Municipal Council Chapala Rani Debray, and officials from various departments including Health, Education, Public Works, Drinking Water and Sanitation, Flood Control, and Animal Husbandry.

The primary focus of the meeting was the recent damage to national highways in the district caused by heavy rainfall. Discussions centered on the urgent need to repair these damaged roads.

Addressing the media, MP Kriti Singh Debbarman expressed gratitude for the support from the people of Unkoti and assured them of her commitment to the district’s overall development. She also promised assistance to those affected by the recent floods.
