Deb shared on social media that he had requested the introduction of Vande Bharat trains between Agartala and Guwahati, as well as express trains connecting Agartala to Puri, Jammu, and Gaya. He emphasized the importance of further strengthening Tripura’s railway network.

The discussions also included plans for modernizing stations such as Agartala, Dharmanagar, Kumarghat, and Udaipur under the Amrit Bharat scheme. Transforming Badharghat station into a world-class facility, establishing industrial rail links, and improving the Jirania yard were among the proposals.
