Modern Motor Stand Inaugurated in Teliamura

Agartala: April 11: On Friday, a modern motor stand was inaugurated in Teliamura, featuring advanced facilities such as a rest area, ticket counters, drinking water provisions, toilets, a security center, and an information desk. The inauguration ceremony was led by Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, accompanied by state ministers Bikash Debbarma and Sushanta Chowdhury, MLA Kalyani Saha Roy, and other dignitaries.

During the event, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha also virtually inaugurated newly constructed permanent buildings for Teliamura English Medium Higher Secondary School, Mungiakami Higher Secondary School, and Kabi Nazrul Vidyamandir Higher Secondary School. These buildings, developed through collaboration between the central and Tripura state governments, include well-equipped classrooms, science laboratories, computer rooms, libraries, and hygienic toilets.

 

In his address, the Chief Minister expressed satisfaction with the establishment of the motor stand, emphasizing its benefits for residents, transport workers, students, and employees. He highlighted the government’s commitment to improving infrastructure and education, addressing teacher shortages, and creating job opportunities. Dr. Saha also noted the state’s progress in education, healthcare, and skill development under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

 

The inauguration of the motor stand fulfilled a long-standing demand of Teliamura residents.
