Agartala: Sept 02: Minister Sudhanshu Das’s recent comments on social media have ignited a heated debate across Tripura. The CPI(M) Tripura State Secretariat has strongly condemned the minister’s remarks, labeling them as communal. The state Congress leadership has also criticized the comments and demanded the minister’s removal from the cabinet.

In his social media post, Minister Das expressed controversial views regarding the moral rights of Hindus to worship their deities, citing incidents of temple vandalism. His statements have been widely criticized for being provocative and potentially harmful to communal harmony.
