Alisha’s body was found hanging in the hostel of the Tripura Sports Council in Badharghat on Monday. Her death led to tension in the sports school area on Tuesday.

Minister Ratan Nath met with Alisha’s family at their home in Lefunga. During the meeting, the family expressed doubts about the circumstances surrounding the girl’s death and demanded a proper investigation into the matter.

Ratan Nath assured the family that a case would be filed at the Women’s Police Station in the West Police District. He also stated that both Chief Minister Manik Saha and the Sports Minister would be made aware of the situation, and he hoped they would take appropriate steps to resolve the issue. The family’s concern for a thorough investigation reflects the seriousness of the case, and local authorities are expected to address the matter with urgency.
