Social Welfare and Social Education Minister, and MLA of the Chandipur constituency, Tinku Roy visited the scenic Shivbari area in Chinibagan, a location admired for its pristine natural beauty and serene environment. Known for its lush greenery and peaceful surroundings, Shivbari continues to draw attention as one of the region’s most picturesque landscapes.
During his visit, Minister Roy expressed deep appreciation for the area’s breathtaking charm. He described the surroundings as a “magnificent canvas painted by nature,” highlighting how the gentle embrace of green-covered hills and the tranquil ambience create a dreamlike experience for visitors. “The sweet touch of silence, the soothing atmosphere, and the spectacular viewpoints together form a picture that feels as if it were drawn by nature’s own hands,” he remarked.
While acknowledging the beauty that remains largely untouched, the Minister also emphasized the enormous potential the location holds for future development. He noted that Shivbari could emerge as a promising site for eco-tourism, nature trails, and community-based tourism initiatives, provided development is planned mindfully and sustainably.
Minister Roy added that his visit was not limited to appreciating the landscape but was also aimed at identifying opportunities for balanced growth. He observed that any developmental activities must ensure that the ecological harmony of the area is preserved. The goal, he stated, should be to enhance the region’s appeal without disturbing its natural charm.
He further mentioned that improving basic amenities, connectivity, and responsible tourism infrastructure could help the region gain wider recognition while benefiting local communities. The Minister assured that the government would explore feasible proposals to develop Shivbari into an attractive and sustainable destination.
Roy concluded by affirming his commitment to promoting natural heritage sites like Shivbari and working towards their development in a way that aligns with environmental conservation and community welfare.
