Minister calls to come forward to donate blood

Agartala June 1: Various social organizations are coming forward in response to the Chief Minister’s call to solve the blood crisis. A voluntary blood donation camp was organized in the hall of Red Cross building in the capital on Thursday.

Minister Ratan Lal Nath inaugurated the camp. Agartala Municipal Corporation Mayor Deepak Majumdar and others were also present. While discussing the opening ceremony of the camp, Minister Ratan Lal Nath said there are various types of donations. But there is no other donation like blood donation because it is possible to save people’s lives through blood donation. Nowadays blood donation is also done in various social events and family functions. Many blood donors volunteered and enthusiastically donated blood in this day camp. Later Minister Ratanlal Nath visited the blood donation camp. And he encouraged blood donors.
