Agartala: Feb 03: There was a time when politics was taught more in schools in Tripura state. In the name of march-meeting, students were taken out of school and subjected to inhuman torture. And they are made to stand in long lines in processions and meetings. These complaints often come from parents. However, Minister Sushanta Chowdhury said that after the formation of the current government, it has been possible to turn around from these.
On Saturday, a mega blood donation camp was organized to mark the 75th anniversary of Ranirbazar Vidya Mandir Higher Secondary School under Majlishpur Assembly Constituency. Minister Sushanta Chowdhury inaugurated the camp.
On the occasion, the minister said that two schools in Jiraniya area have been brought under Vidyajyoti. The minister said that the government will develop the infrastructure to set up more schools in Jirania in the coming days with direct financial support.
The minister said that 27,000 to 28,000 teachers are required for 45000 schools in the state. He said that the government is humanitarian for 10,323 people in the state, but due to the strict orders of the Supreme Court, the government is not able to do anything even though it is humanitarian. But everyone knows their situation.
They are in this situation today because they are not given jobs without following the instructions of the central government. Addressing the teachers, the minister also said that if there are no good teachers, the students cannot be shown the right path. Therefore, teachers have to fulfill their responsibilities as craftsmen of the society.
Regarding blood donation, the minister said that blood donation is the best donation. Which people can give without knowing. Students should be made aware about this blood donation. And in this case teachers have to play a big role. This is what Minister Sushanta Chowdhury said.
Later he visited the blood donation camp and appreciated the blood donors.
