According to reports, Sulekha Sarkar, a patient from Melaghar Rajghat area, was transferred from Melaghar Hospital with a half-finished oxygen cylinder. The oxygen supply ran out as soon as they reached Bairagi Bazar, causing the patient to experience severe breathing difficulties. She was then rushed to Bishalgarh Hospital, where her family members raised an alarm upon arrival. The medical staff at Bishalgarh Sub-Divisional Hospital quickly administered oxygen, stabilizing the patient’s condition. Subsequently, the patient was sent to Agartala GB Hospital by ambulance.
