Agartala: Dec 18: Advisors, including the chief advisor of the interim government in Bangladesh, are venting their frustrations by making anti-India statements. MDC Pradyot Kishore Debbarma has cautioned them to know their limits. He has warned that the safety of minorities in Bangladesh is important and if necessary, we will cross our borders to empower them morally and financially in their own country.

In a social media post today, Pradyot wrote that the current advisors of the Bangladesh government are digging their own graves with their provocative statements about India. He claims that just as India’s goal in 1971 was to break Pakistan into two, today India is much stronger and Bangladesh is weaker. A country that cannot respect its founder, Sheikh Mujib, is going down the wrong path.

 

He warned, ‘The safety of minorities is important and if necessary, we will cross our borders to empower them morally and financially within their own country.
