Left Front convener Narayan Kar said after the deputation that the terror started from the counting table is still going on in the state after leaving the police headquarters. This terror of the ruling party is vandalizing people’s houses and setting them on fire. And because of this terror, two of them died due to heart attack. Not only that, thousands of people left their homes and took refuge in the forest due to the terror of the ruling party. People are not getting the courage to go to the police and file a case. So the police must play a role to stop this torture on people. And in view of each incident, it has been demanded that the accused should be arrested to conduct a proper investigation of the incident, he said.

The Director General of Police has been told that initially 169 cases have been filed. The Director General of State Police has assured that every incident will be investigated. He also said that he has directed all lower level officers to take strict legal action against terrorism. Meanwhile, Congress leader Ashish Kumar Saha said that the miscreants should be arrested to stop this terrorism. The State Director General of Police has been informed to conduct a proper investigation into the incidents that have taken place. CITU State President Manik Dey, Deepak Dev of RSP, Raghunath Sarkar of Forward Block were also present in the delegation.
