Agartala: Jan 02: Not only the loss of IPFT, but the loss of the people of Tripura, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said this while paying his last respects to the late minister in front of the Secretariat. State Revenue Minister and IPFT supremo Narendra Chandra Debbarma passed away at GB Hospital on Sunday afternoon. His body was taken from the hospital to Agartala Krishnanagar house.
The body was lying there all night. On Monday morning, the body of the late minister was taken in front of Akashvani Agartala Centre. The workers paid their respects there. Later it was taken from there in front of the Assembly building. Assembly staff MLAs, Speaker paid their last respects
. From the assembly building, Secretariat was taken in front. Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha along with other ministers and workers paid their respects there. In response, the Chief Minister said that this loss is not only for IPFT but the entire people of Tripura. Assembly Speaker Ratan Chakraborty said in response that Narendra Chandra Debbarma’s departure has left a void in the hills and plains. In response, MLA Sudip Roy Barman said NC Debbarma will be fine wherever he is. Because he has done good work for people all his life. NC Debbarma’s body was taken to his ancestral home in Teliamura sub-division after paying homage at the Assembly and Secretariat.
