According to a police officer, the incident dates back to December 18 last year when the minor’s father lodged a written complaint at the Kailashahar Women’s Police Station. Allegedly, his underage daughter was abducted by a youth from the Kanchanpur region on that day.

Subsequently, the Kailashahar Women’s Police Station initiated a case based on the father’s complaint. Utilizing scientific technology and cybercrime investigation methods, the police successfully traced both the minor and the accused youth.

Following their pursuit, law enforcement officers traveled to Gujarat and collaborated with the local police to apprehend the suspects at a police station in Ahmedabad.

The accused youth and the minor are currently under the custody of the Kailashahar Women’s Police Station. Tomorrow, the youth will be presented before the Kailashahar District Court for further legal proceedings.
