Tripura’s ‘Dharti Aba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan’ Aims to Empower Tribal Communities

Agartala: July 15: Job aspirants seeking jail police posts in the Indian state of West Bengal have expressed their frustration by submitting a deputation to the IG Prisons office. The delay in the recruitment process has prompted their protest. In 2022, physical measurements were conducted for jail police personnel recruitment, with aspirants from various regions participating. However, despite the initial announcement of a written examination and viva test following the physical measurement, nearly two years have passed without any progress. The aspirants’ demands center around expediting the recruitment process. Questions arise about the prolonged timeline for filling vacancies, and politically aware circles anticipate accountability at the ballot box in the near future.
