Agartala January 24: The 34th International Trade and Industry Fair is going to start from January 25 at the Hanpania Fair Grounds. The fair will start at four in the afternoon. The fair will continue till February 11. The schedule of the fair is daily from 2 pm to 9 pm. Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha will auspiciously inaugurate the fair.

Minister Santana Chakma, Tripura Assembly Deputy Speaker Ramprasad Pal, Agartala Municipal Corporation Mayor Deepak Majumder, Deputy Mayor Monika Das Dutta and other dignitaries will also be present as guests. Nabadal Banik, chairman of Tripura Industrial Development Corporation, said this in a press conference at the secretariat on Wednesday. He said that this year special arrangements have been made to make the fair attractive for the visitors. There will be 503 stalls in the fair premises. But many more industries want to sit stalls. But they are not allowed to sit because there is not enough land. But especially four stalls from Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Thailand and Dubai are going to be set up. Besides, entrepreneurs from 17 states in our country have taken stalls in the fair. And they will give importance on the culture of their state. He said that it will be presented at the fair. He also said that the fair is not only for buying and selling, but importance will be given on how to make the youth self-employed. Especially the youth will be informed about the projects of various departments. Workshops have been organized for various industries including bamboo and rubber industries, he said. The official of the concerned department Kiran Gite and others were also present in the press conference organized on this day.
