Agartala, September 27. The India-Bangladesh International Friendly Football Tournament was held today with great enthusiasm and enthusiasm. Two other local groups Tripura Wholesale Grocery Merchants Association and Neeljyoti Tours and Travels also participated in this.

Sports Minister Tinku Roy was present as the chief guest in a short ceremony at the beginning of the tournament and in a short speech he praised Tripura Journalists Union for organizing such an event to bring together the two countries. MLA Tafajjal Hossain, Corporator Alak Roy, TIDC Chairman Nabadal Banik, President Pranab Sarkar, Secretary General Alak Ghosh were present on the occasion among others. Ms. Osin Chakma, Assistant Manager of the Central Ministry of Tourism welcomed the chief guest. Union Joint Secretary Abhishek Dey and Executive Member Samaresh Dey welcomed the guests. Functioning member Suprabhat Debnath was in charge of the program.

AD Neeljyoti Tours and Travels won the final game of the football tournament organized at Nagar School Ground and got the title of champion.

On the third day of the four-day tour, the visiting Chittagong Journalist Sports Club delegation will visit several tourist centers in the state tomorrow. Secretary of the Union Santosh Gope thanked all the associated partners like Union Ministry of Tourism, Neeljyoti Tour and Travels, ONGC Tripura Asset, ILS Hospital and co-sponsors for the successful completion of the Indo-Bangla Friendship Football Tournament.
