Agartala April 27: Bharat-Bangla Baisakhi Moitri Procession was held on Thursday morning under the initiative of Zara Foundation. The procession starts from in front of Rabindra Bhavan and circumambulates the various routes of the city.

Mayor Deepak Majumder was present there. He said that the main purpose of this procession is to highlight the culture of India and Bangladesh, apart from this promoting the tourist center. Through this kind of program, the friendship between the two countries will be stronger. In other words, the mayor expressed hope that the program will be successful.
