Agartala: April 26: Rajendra Reang, the Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPM) candidate from the Indi alliance, exercised his democratic right by casting his vote in the ongoing assembly elections. The polling station buzzed with activity as voters queued up to participate in the electoral process.
In a brief statement, Reang expressed concerns about the Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) used in several places. He highlighted instances where malfunctioning EVMs led to long queues, causing inconvenience to voters. Despite these challenges, Riang encouraged citizens to persevere and exercise their franchise.
Addressing the people of Apam, Reang urged them to overcome any fears and actively participate in the democratic process. He emphasized the importance of voting as a fundamental right and encouraged voters to make their voices heard.
As the election day unfolds, citizens across East Tripura continue to cast their votes, contributing to the democratic fabric of the nation. The electoral commission remains vigilant in ensuring a smooth voting experience for all citizens.
