Agartala, October 19: Importance has been given to the development of communication and internet system in North Eastern region. Union Minister of State for Skill Development, Entrepreneurship and Information Technology Rajeev Chandrasekhar inaugurated the Heart Love Tripura program at Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhawan today.
According to him, the Heartland Tripura program has been launched from today with the aim of increasing employment opportunities in various institutions of national and international level by enhancing the skills of the educated youth of the state. Through this program, initiatives will be taken to increase the skills of the youth with technical, mathematics, statistics, computer science graduates and BCA, MCA, MSc educational qualifications. In this regard, Deloitte and Nilet Agartala will jointly implement the ‘Heartland Tripura’ programme.
On this day, Rajeev Chandrasekhar said that for employment in any field in the future, one must have skills as well as knowledge. There have been many changes in the country’s economy in the last 7-8 years. As a result, various multinational companies are interested in investing in India. But for employment in these multinational companies, everyone needs to be educated as well as have expertise in any particular subject.
On this day, he also said that the Union Minister of State, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken initiative to develop the IT sector in North Eastern states like Bangalore, Chennai, Pune, Gurgaon, along with Tripura. Keeping this in mind, importance has been given to the development of the communication system, internet system in the North-Eastern region. Now there is a need to make the talented students here suitable for employment in multinational companies by developing their skills. It is for this purpose that the ‘Heartland Tripura’ program has been started.
He claimed that in the next few days multinational companies like IBM and Microsoft will also take initiative to participate in this kind of program.
