Immersion scuffle one critical

Amarpur: A clash broke out between two groups approaching for immersion left four persons injured. A woman who attempted to save her husband was also allegedly molested. According to available information, the scuffle broke out between both the groups when one of the groups refused to give pass to another party for immersion of the idol. The accused is identified as Pulak Saha. Saha, a noted CPIM worker had launched an unprovoked attack on the Rajesh Das, a Congress worker. When Rajesh’s wife his friends including Palash Saha and Iman Saha tried to defuse the tension, they had also been attacked by the accused. The injured Rajesh Das is now admitted to GBP hospital for treatment.
