Agartala, Nov 4: Despite constant efforts by the Tripura Police, the smuggling of narcotics in the state is not completely stopped. In the meantime, police recovered 10,000 Yaba tablets from a car on Kadamtala-Churaibari main road based on secret information. Two youths have also been arrested. District Superintendent of Police Bhanupada Chakraborty said that the market value of the seized drugs would be approximately Rs 50 lakhs.

District Superintendent of Police Bhanupada Chakraborty said, based on secret information, Churaibari Police Station received information that a lot of drugs would be smuggled by car. On the basis of that news, the police are sitting on the Kadamtala – Churaibari main road today at noon. At that time, the police intercepted a car bearing the number TR01BW301 on the Kadamtala – Churaibari main road. The police recovered a total of 10,000 Yaba tablets after searching it. Two young men were also arrested.
