Agartala July 28: On the occasion of World Hepatitis Day, Hepatitis Foundation of Tripura and Association of Physicians of India Tripura State Branch organized a program on Friday at Rabindra Shatabarshiki Bhavan in the capital.

Minister Sushanta Chowdhury inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp. Former MLA Dr. Dilip Das, eminent physician Pradeep Bhowmick, eminent physician Arindam Dutta and others were present. While discussing this day’s program, Minister Sushanta Chowdhury said that he highly appreciated Hepatitis Foundation of Tripura. He also said that just as everyone fought together and raised awareness during the outbreak of Corona, similarly everyone should fight together to prevent hepatitis. Minister Sushant Chowdhury said that public awareness should be increased. Meanwhile, the chief health official in the discussion laid special emphasis on hepatitis. Today’s workshop is organized with the aim of creating awareness among the common people.
