Agartala October 24: The outgoing Governor Satyadeo Narayan Arya was formally given a guard of honor at the Raj Bhavan on Tuesday following traditional norms. Satyadeo Narayan Arya, the 19th Governor of Tripura, was bid farewell in a solemn atmosphere.

He assumed charge as the Governor of Tripura in July 2021. Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, Minister Shuklacharan Nowatia, Chief Secretary JK Sinha, Director General of Police Amitabh Ranjan and other officials of the administration were present in the guard of honor ceremony. Outgoing Governor Satyadeo Narayan Arya spoke to the Chief Minister for some time before leaving. The chief minister said that the outgoing governor has fulfilled his duties as the governor of the state. He had a good relationship with the government. Indra Sena Reddy Nallu will take charge as the 20th Governor. He will come to the state on Wednesday afternoon, will take oath on Thursday. Besides welcoming the new Governor, the Chief Minister wished the outgoing Governor long life.
